I regularly head over to the PR Conversations blog, because the authors provide great ideas and information. The latest post by Frank Ovaitt, “Linking Trust and Transparency,” provides some new research that further supports the evidence of the link between trust and transparency.

Well worth a read.

Thanks for the PR Conversations props, Tom. This was Frank Ovaitt’s first (direct) post as one of our contributors. (He was sharing with me how the instructions didn’t look anything like the actual blogging software in front of him!) That makes it especially great that you found the topic valuable and took the time to express your appreciation, both on PR Conversations and here on Commakazi Speek.

FYI, I shared information about your “Further evidence of the link between trust and transparency” post in our PR Conversations Contributors group space (on The Communicators’ Network). Several contributors are at PR academic presentations and symposiums, this week and next, but the beauty is that they can monitor the group messages and discussions, 24/7.

As I said, Judy, I find a lot of value in the time spent on the PR Conversations blog. You’re right about the value of posting to your contributors group space. As I suggested to Stu Reed of Motorola following his EXCEL award speech, social media, including blogs, allows conversations to happen without regard to time or distance. (He had dissed blogging and I wanted to clarify the value that some of us see in it.)

Anyway, thanks for commenting here, and I hope that you enjoy your holiday, as will I!
