I’ve continued to monitor many other blogs and to stop by both MyRagan and The Communicators Network. The time off from blogging helped me to focus on other portions of my life that are important to me (family, career, rest and rejuvenation).

Many times over the past month, I opted to turn off the home computer at 10 or 10:30 p.m., instead of writing a post here. I had (and still have) plenty to say about various events and topics, but I just needed to back away. That’s easy when it’s a blog like this that isn’t a generator of money or clients (I’m not a paid consultant), and that isn’t one of the top-rated “must-read” blogs.

That said, I also understand the importance of blogging regularly as a means to keep my skills sharp and my readers engaged. So here we go again….
